medical Operations and Governance
- lead international medical governance meetings, townhalls, and educational events.
- deliver a balanced scorecard for international medical teams, focusing on outcome-based performance measures.
- oversee integration and optimization of IT systems (e.g., Veeva, financial tools) for medical operations.
- manage grants and donations processes, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
- develop and implement onboarding strategies for new medical team members.
financial Oversight
- track and manage a medical budget across the region.
- lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial planning process.
- monitor financial aspects of international congress attendance strategies.
strategic Initiatives and Process Improvements
- identify and implement improvements in medical processes (e.g., KOL engagement strategies, material reviews).
- collaborate with compliance teams to develop and refine SOPs.
- design and execute functional training programs for medical teams, leveraging external vendors when needed.
clinical and Operational Support
- manage Investigator Study Trials (ISTs), from concept approval to closure.
- partner with MSL Managers in Europe and Japan to enhance operational standards and training.
- support the Chief Medical Officer in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- advanced degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Health Sciences (PhD or PharmD preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in medical affairs within pharma, biotech, or med-tech industries.
- proven ability to work in matrixed and cross-functional environments.
- strong track record in multi-project management and financial oversight.
- proficiency with IT systems like Veeva; experience in diagnostics is a plus.
- exceptional written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- ability to travel: 10%.
