your tasks
- Lead consulting and roll-out projects for clients in the manufacturing industry.
- Organize and moderate meetings and workshops with client representatives to understand their business, challenges, and future needs, while gathering and structuring their requirements.
- Analyze and model business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in both operations and IT systems to design optimized solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, technology experts, and development teams to design new technology solutions or modify existing IT environments.
- Define requirements and create detailed specifications for new IT systems or transformations of existing environments.
- Present and discuss proposed solutions with diverse stakeholders to secure their buy-in and commitment.
- Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to creating new project proposals for clients.
- Support and mentor less experienced consultants, while leading consulting teams in various projects.
what we expect
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in machinery, pharmaceuticals, or automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with the software development process and basic IT architecture concepts, with hands-on experience in IT system rollouts.
- Solid understanding of market trends and concepts such as Digital Manufacturing, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, Shop Floor Integration, and Edge Computing, with the ability to assess their impact on manufacturing businesses.
- Practical experience with IT systems supporting production and logistics, such as ERP, MES, SCADA, or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a talent for building relationships with business partners, gaining their attention, and promoting ideas and services.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
- Ability to analyze processes, situations, and problems in a structured way, with a focus on delivering solutions that align with business objectives.
