Aker Solutions together with Randstad, is currently looking for Structural Engineers who will join the team and strengthen capabilities in the brand-new Gdańsk office.

- Training will be given, and you will receive a mentor to guide you while you develop your skills.
- Performing fabrication drawings in 3D.
- Preparing the work packages, including welding information according to the standards and project criteria, together with production and assembling requirements.
- Preparation of job cards via MIPS where applicable.
- Collaboration with internal teams (design and engineering).
- Verifying provided design by the external vendor.
- Supporting the production team on later stages of the projects.
- Master’s, Bachelor’s degree within Structural engineering or similar (the lack of degree may be compensated by technical experience).
- English proficiency at min. B2 level.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of structure and understanding of fabrication engineering is an advantage.
- Experience in 3D modeling (Aveva E3D is nice to have).
- A couple of years of experience in a similar role in the oil&gas industry in fabrication design (preferable).
- Openness to travel occasionally to visit the site and colleagues in Norway.
- Experience in cooperation with outside vendors and verifying provided documentation.
- Knowledge of structural regulations (NORSOK and Eurocode 3 is an advantage).
- Great communication and collaborative skills, along with a problem-solving mindset.
