your tasks
- lead and mentor a team of Air&Sea Operations Specialists, fostering a
collaborative and supportive environment where team members feel empowered
to contribute and develop, - oversee day-to-day operations in air&sea logistics, ensuring adherence to
quality and compliance standards while achieving timely, accurate service
delivery, - drive Learning and Development within the team, identifying skill gaps and
providing growth opportunities to strengthen capabilities, particularly in service
quality and process optimisation, - spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing LEAN
methodologies to optimise workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance client
satisfaction, - manage escalations and complex logistics cases, ensuring a prompt and effective
resolution while supporting team members through complex problem-solving
scenarios.
what we expect
- strong leadership skills with a focus on developing team capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence,
- expertise in air&sea logistics, including process optimisation, service quality
management, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), - CargoWise or Carlo system - must have,
- proficiency in LEAN and process improvement methodologies to streamline
workflows and enhance efficiency, - excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal
teams and client partners, - advanced proficiency in MS Excel for reporting,
- forward thinking; future proofing the company,
- knowledge of foreign languages: fluency in English,
- knowledge of computer programs: advanced skills in MS Excel, with experience using other logistics and data management tools.
